Full Description

This Standard covers liquid starters and controllers for the rotor circuits of slip-ring motors and synchronous induction motors and the like, including models used for d.c. dynamic braking, reverse current braking and slip regulation: it does not apply to associated equipment in the stator (primary) circuits of such motors. Liquid starters and controllers for d.c. motors are also excluded.
